What a social casino is
The phrase means casino-style software used as entertainment. The stake is a number on a screen. In Canada, that product is not the same as a licensed betting site. Driftwood Arcade does not take wagers, does not hold a gambling licence, and does not need one for this kind of toy counter.
How the counter works here
| Event | Virtual coins |
|---|---|
| First visit | 10,000 |
| Once per calendar day | +2,000 |
| Reset control | back to 10,000 |
| A lost round | stake deducted |
| A collected round | posted return added |
Clearing browser data wipes the counter. That is expected. Nothing of value leaves with it.
Why everything here is free
A shop would turn the counter into a product. The point of this parlour is the opposite: you can finish a round, reset, or close the tab without a payment prompt. If a page ever asked for money, it would no longer match these terms.
Quick test
- Look at the header chip. There is no currency symbol beside it.
- Search the site for a buy button. There is not one.
- Read a game result. It talks about virtual coins, never about cash.
