The floor

Four games, four tempos

A wheel you mark, a coin you call, a card you judge, a disc you drop. Same coin purse. Different clocks.

Wild West
Toy-like western prize wheel with a sheriff-star hub on saloon timber

Spur Wheel

A 54-pocket money wheel. Stake a mark — 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 or 40 — and see whether the pointer agrees. Pays the posted odds; thin slices sit on the high marks.

Ancient Egypt
Gold scarab coin beside sandstone blocks with geometric marks

Scarab Streak

Call Scarab or Sun. Each correct face doubles the pot; one miss empties it. Cash out whenever the nerve goes.

Play Scarab Streak
Great White North
Playing cards on plaid cloth with a canoe and maple leaves

North Shore Hi-Lo

A 52-card deck, Ace high. Guess whether the next card sits above or below. Same rank is a miss. Collect after a streak, or push it.

Steampunk Works
Brass peg board with a gear-shaped disc and valve handles

Valve Drop

Eight rows of rivets, nine valves at the floor. Each bounce is an honest 50/50. Edge slots pay more because they are rarer.

Opening

Want four kinds of free play without opening a wallet?

Driftwood Arcade is a short Canadian parlour: one western wheel, one Egyptian coin, one lakeside hi-lo and one brass peg drop, all running on virtual coins that never leave this browser.

The mix

A small arcade, on purpose

01

Different clocks

Spur Wheel resolves in one spin. Scarab Streak can end on the first call or run a doubling line. Hi-Lo asks for a judgement each card. Valve Drop is a few seconds of falling brass.

02

Different asks

You pick a numbered mark, a coin face, a higher/lower call, or you simply drop the disc. None of them require a tutorial video. Rules sit beside each stage.

03

One purse

Ten thousand virtual coins to start, two thousand more once per calendar day, and a reset that is always in reach. Coins cannot be bought, sold or withdrawn.

Character notes

What each game actually feels like

Spur Wheel

Saloon timber, a sheriff-star hub, and a pointer that does not care about hunches. Marking “1” hits often and pays even money. Marking “40” is a thin slice. The layout is a 54-pocket wheel with posted odds, not a mystery reel.

Scarab Streak

A gold-and-sand coin with two faces. The maths is a fair 50/50 each toss; the drama is whether you collect the doubled pot or ask the scarab once more. There is no “due” face.

North Shore Hi-Lo

Plaid, maple, a canoe on the felt. The honest part: after a two, “higher” is the percentage play; after an Ace, only “lower” makes sense. The deck is shuffled with a cryptographic generator and dealt without replacement until it runs short.

Valve Drop

Rivets, gauges, a gear-shaped disc. Eight independent left/right bounces build a binomial pile-up in the middle valves. The 10× chambers exist because the path to the rim is uncommon, not because the machine “owes” a hit.

Terms on the floor

A pocket glossary

Virtual coins
A local counter stored in this browser. They buy nothing and cash out to nothing.
Stake
How many virtual coins you put on a single round. Lost stakes stay in the tray; they are not a payment to anyone.
Mark
On Spur Wheel, the number you back (1 through 40). The wheel must land on that number for the posted odds to pay.
Streak
Consecutive correct calls on Scarab Streak or North Shore Hi-Lo. One miss ends the line.
House edge
On Spur Wheel and Valve Drop, posted returns sit below a fair price, the way a real wheel or peg board would. Coins still have no cash value.

Before you press spin

A short floor check

  1. Confirm you meet the age line: 19+ in most provinces, 18+ in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec.
  2. Treat the header count as a score, not a balance. It cannot be topped up with money.
  3. Read the rules panel on the game you open. Odds on this site follow the printed mechanic.
  4. Set a time to stop. The daily coin top-up is a convenience, not a reason to stay.
  5. If play stops being fun, leave. Help links live on the responsible play page.

Questions

Straight answers

Can I buy more coins or cash them out?

No. The counter starts at 10,000 on a first visit, adds 2,000 once per calendar day, and can be reset to 10,000 at any time from a game screen. There is no shop, no deposit form, no crypto, and no redemption. If the number hits zero, reset it. Nothing on this site accepts payment.

Is this a licensed casino?

It is not. Driftwood Arcade is entertainment software: casino-style rules with a toy coin purse. Social games of this kind are not gambling and are not licensed by AGCO, iGaming Ontario, BCLC, AGLC, Loto-Québec or any other authority. No seal on this site should be read as oversight, because none is claimed.

Do the games use a real random draw?

Each round calls the browser’s cryptographic generator when it exists, and falls back to the engine’s standard generator otherwise. Spins, tosses, cards and peg bounces are independent. The site does not stage near-misses or warm up a wheel.

Will playing here help at a real casino?

No. Knowing that a single-zero wheel has 37 pockets is useful trivia. Hitting a 40 on Spur Wheel with virtual coins says nothing about a future real-money session. Success here is a cartoon score. It does not imply future success at gambling.

Free play only. Virtual coins have no cash value, cannot be purchased, and cannot be exchanged, redeemed or withdrawn. No prizes of real-world value. For adults: 19+, and 18+ in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec. Nothing on this site is directed at minors. Last updated 14 August 2026.
